Our Standard Specification
We use a consistent, proven specification that provides the best balance of strength, appearance, and long-term durability.
- All projects are made to measure in our workshop
- All work is professionally hot-dip galvanised and powder-coated for durability and longevity
- Every project is overseen from start to finish to ensure a consistent and reliable outcome
Design Considerations and Options
While we keep our core specification consistent, certain elements can be adjusted depending on the project:
- Balustrades are regularly made using 12mm solid infill bars, where maintaining a lighter feel or clearer view is preferred
- Wall-Top Railings look best with 16mm solid infill bars, making them robust and secure
- Larger gates may use 16mm hollow infill bars to reduce overall weight and minimise stress on supporting structures
These decisions are made based on what will work best for your property, both structurally and visually.
What Affects The Cost
Each project is different, and final pricing is influenced by:
- Overall size and layout
- Design complexity and level of detail
- Installation conditions and access
- Groundworks or fixing requirements
- Finishing processes such as galvanising and powder coating
Because of these variables, an accurate quote is provided after a site visit and discussion.
Payment Terms
To secure your project within our schedule, a 50% deposit is required upon acceptance of the quotation.
A further 40% payment is due prior to installation. Installation dates are confirmed once this stage payment has been received.
The final 10% balance is payable upon completion of the works.
Lead Times and Priority Service
We take on a limited number of projects each month to ensure quality and are currently booking projects approximately 12–16 weeks in advance.
In some cases, where workshop capacity allows, we can offer a priority turnaround for an additional cost. This can be discussed at the time of enquiry.
Installation dates are secured once your project is confirmed.
Making an Enquiry
To help us provide an accurate initial estimate, we ask that you include:
- A photo of the area where the work will be installed
- Approximate sizes or dimensions
- A brief idea of the style or design you have in mind
- The location of the property
This allows us to give you a more accurate guide price before arranging a site visit.
Minimum Project Value
Projects outside our normal working area may incur additional charges, which will always be discussed in advance.
Is This Right For You?
Our work is best suited to homeowners who want a permanent, well-made solution that enhances their property, not the cheapest option.
Most of our clients are looking for something that is built properly once, rather than a temporary or budget solution.
If you’re looking for something built with care and attention to detail, we’d be happy to discuss your project.
